As we move into autumn, the colours this year in the Cotswolds are amazing.
Bright yellows, rich reds and coppery tones fill the hedgerows and skylines.
We love this time of year when we light the open fires and get cosy infront of the Aga.
And we’ve been looking at what’s on in London for our overseas visitors too.
Christmas in Leicester Square begins 11th November! The ‘square’ will be home to a Christmas grotto, traditional market and a vintage Spiegeltent until January 8th.
Now in its twenty-fourth year, the London Jazz Festival starts 11th November. It’s evolved into an internationally renowned celebration of jazz, featuring international greats, top-notch improv and hot new talent.
On November 12th The Lord Mayor’s Show and Fireworks is not to be missed! This is one of London’s biggest traditional events with more than 7,000 performers from all over the world filling the streets and the day finishing with spectacular riverside fireworks.
While there’s plenty of entertainment available in the capital, why not do something different this year? How about our Cotswolds tour as a daytrip from London?
I’m inviting you to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy a day with us. You’ll get to see breath taking scenery, which is particularly stunning this time of year. AND you get an invitation into my private home!
Yes, that’s right! Throughout the day we’ll take you to places you’ve only dreamt of. They are completely off the beaten track, you won’t find them in any tour guides and they are inaccessible by public transport. In the morning you’ll come back to my 500 year old traditional thatched cottage for coffee and pastries. At lunch time I’ll treat you to a wonderful buffet, and in the afternoon you’ll be treated to a traditional English cream tea complete with scones freshly baked from my Aga! This time of year you might enjoy sitting next to an inglenook fireplace and exploring my home to see how a normal English family live.
