We spend a lot of time on our tours talking travel with our guests.
You’d expect us too, after all, they’re all travelling around England when they book their Cotswolds guided tour with us and they want to know the best places to visit!
We set up our company because we’ve travelled to many countries and had many instances of coming home, realising we’d missed some of the best parts.
We wanted to make sure that didn’t happen to tourists in OUR area!
Recently, we came across Traveltalk – Australia’s favourite travel magazine.
The magazine is a multi award-winning, easy-to-read travel news magazine that has been available in Australian travel agencies for over thirty years and is now the country’s highest circulating travel industry magazine.
Written by experienced nationally and internationally-based journalists, every month, Traveltalk delivers industry news, perspectives on travel and tourism issues, features on international and Australian destinations, and cruise, property and special themed reports.
The magazine has an impressive unique selling point: it’s Australia’s only travel trade magazine with a trade and consumer readership.
Their blog contains an interesting mix of updates such as “Is this the world’s most mysterious airport?” to “How to get your own Island” to “the most clichĂ© places to propose” – so there’s something for everyone!
But don’t worry if you’re not in Australia. You can still read their magazine oneline for free
We were delighted to be featured in the March edition of Traveltalk.
They say:
Fancy a bespoke tour of the Cotswolds that takes you off the beaten track to quaint villages and inside a historic thatched cottage?
A six hour guided tour of villages in Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire takes place daily in what is believed to be a first for teh UK travel inustry. That’s beacuse the tour guide, Becky, also invites guests back to her thatched cottage for morning coffee, a buffet lunch and traditional cream tea.
Before going on to describe the tour in detail.
If you’re travelling to Australia why not check out their magazine, you’ll be sure to find something to interest you.
